Why Taprobane, Not Sri Lanka

Life in Taprobane

In a nutshell:
"Our clock is 30 minutes ahead of the world; but we are a few centuries behind in time..."

Thanks Anna, for putting it in such a simple sentence.

  2. In our thinking.

We, as a country, have not evolved. Think of the avarage travel time in Sri Lanka; 15-20 kilometres in an hour? Think of lunch alternatives for the working community, look at the media, look at our film-industry. All around us we can find opportunities to improve - at least to be on par with the rest of the world.

We, the Sri Lankans invented the flying machine. We built the first recorded multi-story building. We had sanitary systems 5,000 years ago. We built great cities and civilisations.

And, look at us today. Where did we lose the momentum?

  4. We lost the momentum in 1948. The Brits should have never left us in the lurch and run away. We could have been a better nation full of better people today.

  5. 'WHERE DID WE LOOSE OUR MOMENTUM'?
Weforgot ourselves! a wheel has a centre, a radius and a cicumference. We have become square. WE import laws and ideas that does not suit our evolution. we have become a patched up nation. We have no vision or creativity. WE are facing different directions. Any fancy can highjack us. Its a pity. people with vision have no energy. (to have a vision takes a lot of energy)and people with energy have no vision. I should know.
